The Japan High School Baseball OB Club Federation, hosted Masters Koshien, has supported
the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai.
We established the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai Baseball Organising Committee
with the Hyogo Amateur Baseball Association.
 


What is the World Masters Games?
The World Masters Games started with the 1985 games held in Toronto.
It is the world's largest lifelong sports competition with over 170,000 sports enthusiasts participating so far.
It takes place every four years, attracting tens of thousands of athletes to new locations.
The 10th World Masters Games will be held in May 2021 in Kansai, Japan.

<General Category>
Divided into 4 categories; “A30+”, “A45+”, “B30+”, “B45+”
30+: Minimum age is 30 (born on or before 31 December 1991)
45+: Minimum age is 45 (born on or before 31 December 1976)
* The age of youngest registered team member determines which age category the team will compete in.
* A team may make entry into a younger age category.


*One player can participate only in one category.
*All teams can compete regardless of gender.
* Minimum and maximum number of participants per team are 15 and 50, respectively.
* All teams are required to have a minimum of 12 players.
* Teams are also required at least one manager, one umpire and one scorer.
<Schedule>

*The competition schedule and venues are subject to change depending on the number of registered teams.
* Date: 15 - 28 May 2021
* Grade B and Grade A will take place on 15-21 May and 22-28 May, respectively.
* Divided into a total of 4 stadiums.
* At least 3 matches per team will be played.
* Registered members can freely switch players for each match.
<Medal Ceremony>
◆ The Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the first, second and third-ranked all teams and all players by grade and by category.
◆ No third-place playoff will be held.

PRE GAME 2019
〇 Saturday, 30 November 2019
The Pre Game 2019 was held at a baseball field in Miki city, which is one of the venues for the WMG 2021 Kansai.
The Japanese team and the Asian teams (Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Nepal),
scheduled to participate in WMG 2021 Kansai Baseball, had the exhibition game.
